Welcome to the Waimauku Community Association –
Our Community’s Voice
The Waimauku Community Association was set up to provide a forum for local issues to be raised and progress the interests of the community.
Our current core focus is to oppose the Waimauku West Fast-track housing development in its proposed form.
We are our community’s collective response to oppose the planned 2,000+ Waimauku West housing development.
The development would increase Waimauku’s population from 1,400 to over 7,000.
We need donations to engage a lawyer for our community’s response to the Fast-track application
Now’s the moment where we need donations towards our community’s response against Waimauku West, once the full application is lodged by the applicant.
Every contribution helps us cover legal fees, enables us to have technical experts review the submission, keep going and make sure our community’s voice is properly heard.
You can donate through our Givealittle page or into our bank account:

Waimauku West Parliamentary Petition
What an amazing effort! Our petition closed with 3344 signatures and was presented in parliament on 23 September.
We’re now waiting for a select committee to pick up the petition once the new government is formed.
